Dear Peter, wow nice sceneries and some are a real eye opener, surely worth visiting, but i must say both of you are real adventurers.staying on the boat, train, walking up the trek for more than 10kms WOW,different feeling from the norm,we must try it out.Imagine when mention Vietnam one will remember the war,but looking at your photos have changed my perception of VIETNAM.Thanks for sharing and GOD BLESS fr AL MAL.

No, no. We are not the adventurers you think we are but we are game enough to try the kayaking and trekking for the fun of it. I'm glad we didn't shy from participating and have great memories. Yes, please try and be glad you did. I don't know your impression of Vietnam but I admire the perseverance of those I met. They work hard to earn a living and seldom complain. Of course there are always one or two exceptions. Hanoi is great for a 2nd honeymoon. Not advisable to bring small children along. Peter.
